Socrates

In the book im reading, a philosepher named Plato talked about his life with his mentor Socrates. Scrates would teach all the boys in his area about wisdom and philosophy, he was voted the most wise man in his city. But he would not call himself wise he would just say he would try to chase being wise with all his love.
In the end Socrates went to jail when he was around seventy years old, and although he could of gotten out he chose to stay in and asked if the jail could give him poisen so he could die and not have to wait in jail for the reast of his life.
I read for 3 hours this week and 50 pages.

"The Story of Philosophy" by Will Durant

I have been reading a book called "The Story of Philosophy" by Will Durant. It's about philosophy obviously, and so far its been talking about the five different groups of philosphy, it has also been talking about ancient philosephers. But so far its been more of an introduction to the book, so theirs not that much to write about yet. I have read for 3 hours total this week from page one to forty five.
